Trainee Machine Operator Wanted
We are a small family earthworks business looking to expand. We are looking for a fit, energetic person to join our team as a trainee machine operator with room to move up the ladder. Join at the ground floor with potential to progress quickly.
You will be required to undertake labouring, basic machine operation as well as running deliveries. We are not just any ordinary earthworks company doing bulk cuts and house sites, we specialise in the difficult jobs where solutions are not easy to come by and where we need to constantly think outside the square. We undertake a large variety of jobs where no two days are the same. We work Auckland wide. Working and learning alongside the owner, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn. For the right candidate we offer the opportunity to work toward a Civil Trades qualification.
All we ask from you is to communicate clearly, keep detailed records for work done, be honest and reliable and punctual and communicate your ideas to us. A company is only as good as its people. You will need a minimum of a clean class 1 restricted licence, be able to pass drug and alcohol tests and be legally entitled to work in NZ.
A remuneration package will be discussed and will be based on experience and ability.
If this sounds like you, please send your resume along with a cover letter to cheryl@ditrac.co.nz
